God or Coincidence ?

On February 17, 2011, my first cousin, (on my moms side of the family) had died.  I was relating his death to my son Landon, as he sat at the kitchen table watching me pack a set of chimes and a sympathy card, to send to my uncle who lives out of state.

A few days later, February 20, 2011, my first cousin (on my dads side of the family) died.  Once again, I was relating yet another death to my son Landon, as he watched me pack a different set of chimes and a sympathy card, to send to my aunt, who also resides out of state.

Nine days later, March 1, 2011,  my son Landon died....

Now, some would call this a coincidence, a weird coincidence, maybe even an act of fate.  Whatever will be, will be - kind of thing. Life deals us a hand and we just make the best of it we can.  Sometimes the chips are up and sometimes they're down.
One cliché after another to explain it away.
Each day for them is one

"luck of the draw" after another, with the hope that nothing like that ever happens to them.

For those of us who are followers of Christ, we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  It may not be easy, may not seem right, but there are no random acts. There is nothing that escapes Our Fathers hand, unless He allows it through.

So, if you are a Christian and are walking obediently with God each day, you can know for sure that what has taken place in your life, has been put there for a purpose.   Rest assured that Your Father is preparing you and/or preparing the circumstances for what He knows is best.  Remember that each of us somehow, someway, effect someone else's life.  What you say and do or what you don't say or fail to do will effect someone else.

I unpacked my chimes, the ones my sister sent, about two
weeks later.

They hang on the porch and sing in the wind:
And the sound I hear speaks of God Almighty.

This is my site.  A site of Our Hope.  A site of Truth.
